The Kennels

  • Your pets are boarded to suit their size and any special needs. These are priced accordingly.
  • Medication will be administered and monitored whilst boarding with us. We are experienced at administering most types of medicines including injections.
  • We are happy to administer individually tailored diets, although you will need to provide the necessary food.
  • All kennels are heated and supplied with baskets and bedding however you can supply your own, please ensure it is clean.

All pets should have up to date vaccination certificate against; Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para influenza and Parvo Virus (these are the normal vaccinations given as a matter of course by your vet).

A kennel cough vaccination (intra nasal bordatella) MUST be given at least 14 days before boarding. WITHOUT THIS VACCINATION YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOARD WITH US. It is not given by your vet as a formality you need to ask for it.

To avoid confusion we have tried to keep the pricing and categorisation of pets as simple as possible. All dogs are 15 per dog per day.

For pets sharing there is a 1.00 reduction per day, per pet.

Own food

  • You may bring your own food if you prefer. (Please note there is no discount if you do)

Own bedding

  • You are welcome to bring your own bedding. Please ensure it is clean to help with our continued high hygiene standards.

New or Young Dogs

I am afraid that I cannot accept dogs who become distressed or bark excessively when kennelled. I want your dog to be content and happy when staying at the kennels and I also have to consider the other dogs in residence. As a general rule young dogs under 18 months old may not board very well and could be traumatised or overexcited and distressed by the experience if they are not ready.

To help with this I like all new and young dogs to spend a day with me before they are kennelled. This will enable me to get to know your dog and to assess how they will behave in the kennel environment. I will do my best to help your dog enjoy their stay at the kennels. However on the rare occasion where your dog becomes too distressed whilst at the kennel I will not be able to accept them as a boarder. I will discuss this with you. Please note I will not accept overly aggressive dogs that are known to attack other animals or people, you will be requested to remove them immediately.
